Scott Bowles at USA Today reports on the 50th anniversary of the cinematic James Bond and the upcoming Bond film Skyfall starring Daniel Craig as James Bond.
Ian Fleming created the iconic secret agent character in the first novel of his James Bond series, Casino Royale, in 1953. The first Bond film, Dr No, starring Sean Connery as Bond, was released in 1962.
